It is a pickle powder intended for cast iron brazing with a great pickling powder. The waste of flux is eliminated by washing with warm water or by brushing. At use, the powder flux 1055 allows a very good adhesion even on a vertical surface. There are neither retention and nor profusion, so it allows a good stability in the brazing during melting. It is particularly recommended for cast iron brazing with brass wire as filler metal
Dry powder of calibrated granulometry
The COBOR flux 1055 is advised for the soudo-brazing of cast iron Steel- Brass, by oxyacethylic flame at temperatures from 700 to 1000° C
The COBOR flux 1055 is used in powder or it can be mixed with water in order to form a paste (70/30 flux/water) or it can be used by dipping the brass stick heated in the powder.
