It is a flux intended for brazing Copper/Brass/Steel and Stainless Steel with all Silver alloys with a great pickling powder. The waste of flux are eliminated by thermal shock (dipping in cold water) or by brushing.
At use, the powder Flux-it 340 M allows a very good adhesion even on a vertical surface. There are neither retention and nor profusion, so it allows a good stability in the brazing during melting.
Dry powder of calibrated granulometry without any boric acid.
The powder Flux-it 340 M is advised for the brazing and the soudo-brazing by oxyacetylenic flame or by gas at temperatures between 550 and 800° C.
The powder Flux-it 340 M is used in powder or it can be mixed with water in order to form a paste (80/20 flux/water) or it can be used by dipping the filler metal stick heated in the powder.
