Soldering flux for cast-on-strap (COS) process

FLUXAK 1046 - Soldering flux for cast-on-strap (COS) process

Non-Corrosive flux, totally eliminated when dipped into the lead bath. The flux is formulated from pure organic compounds (in water solution) and eliminated by sublimation. No residual salts or combustion residues remain after soldering (casting), problems linked to conductivity (self-discharge) and corrosion are solved when using this technology.

PRODUCT APPLICATION

This flux is of particular interest for the manufacture of storage batteries where self discharge phenomena must be avoided. It is a neutral flux and as such a multi-purpose product intended to be used regardless of the type of strap and grid alloys.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

The flux must be used undiluted on the surface of the lugs by dipping or impregnation

USING CARE AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Without particular risk Refer to health and safety data sheets before use
