Powder used for brazing copper alloys and nickel alloys. It has an excellent stripping Power, the flux residues are eliminated by thermal shocks (dipped in cold water) or by brushing. COBOR FLUX 1052 has a great adhesion even on vertical surfaces, it doesn’t spread out or shrink. It provides a good stability of the brazing alloy while melting.
COBOR FLUX 1052 is a dry powder with a calibrated mesh size.
This flux is recommended for welding or brazing cemented steel assemblies, copper and cemented steel alloys, copper and nickel alloys at temperatures from about 550 to 800°C.
COBOR FLUX 1052 is used pure or mixed with water (50%flux/50%water) or by dipping your hot filler metal stick in the powder.
